Venice, December 18, 2020 – The Secretary General of the Giorgio Cini Foundation Renata Codello, together with the President of the Lucio Fontana Paolo Laurini Foundation, announce the establishment of a scholarship dedicated to Enrico Crispolti (Rome, 18 April 1933 – Rome, 8 December 2018 ).
The scholarship, which was published in 2021 by the Institute of Art History of the Cini Foundation directed by Luca Massimo Barbero and the Lucio Fontana Foundation, is focused on the study of Lucio Fontana’s Argentine period (monuments, projects and works ), renewing and ideally continuing the relationship between Enrico Crispolti, who has dedicated much of his research to the work of the Italo-Argentine artist, and the new generations of scholars.
The project, intended for Italian or foreign graduate, doctoral or post-doc candidates up to 35 years of age, with an advanced knowledge of the Spanish language and experience in the field of archival research, will last six months, to be spent between Italy and Argentina.
